You can put a preamp output signal in the effects return and use an A/B switch for the inputs.
The presence and GEQ, if on will be active.
I think we have the terminology a bit confused. The Slave out is a compensated signal of the preamp
and power amp. It has a fatter overall tone. The preamp out under the chassis is an output signal of just the preamp
at the master volume. It does not include the negative feedback or power amp signal and is much brighter in tone.
If you have a power amp with some voicing it can be compensated. Both have a purpose and tone intended to be more flexible with the amps
tonal palette out to power amps. The Slave out is MASSIVE into a Simul 2:90/2:95. Never use your effects send for anything other than it's
intended purpose. Any input signal with too high a voltage will cook your V2. It can also be used as a power amp line out, but it's before
the master volume and is yet another tonal difference in the power amp out voicing but it's main intent is the effects send signal.
