I am a newbie to the forum and quite new to the older valve amps so go easy on me!
I have a Calibre 50 Mark III I believe, it has the graphic equaliser on the front of the unit.
The first problem I had was the push pull pot for clean / dirty was goosed, this I have replaced and the amp works a treat BUT (always a but somewhere) after 5 minutes of playing the tone starts to deteriorate, so for instance the clean gets progressively - less clean if that makes sense.
I have various valves lying around and have tried swapping them out but without any real success, I can't say if these valves are all in top condition, and to buy a complete new set would be quite an investment espcially if if did not sort the problem.
Any pointers at this time would really be appreciated.
