Hi

I just bought the Mark V (head) yesterday. But i want to use my old cab for now which is 4x12 peavey (16 ohms celestion G12K-85). I know i can't rewire my cab to be 8 ohm but how about if i rewire 2 speakers in 16 ohm and the other 2 in 16 ohm also with a new 1/4 inch jack. So do you guys think it's possible to use the two 8ohm jack on the mark V to connect to the 2 jacks on my cabinet?

Thank you for your help!

If each of the speaker is 16 ohms then U can just wire-parallel each side to 8ohms then connect both the 8ohms per side to the two 4ohm speaker jacks of your MarkV. This way your peavey cab impedance will match the Mark V.

2 8ohms parralleled = 4ohms.
