Im thinking about buying an Attenuator since my Mesa F-50 combo might be a little to loud for my apartment. I want to have the awesome tone at low volumes, is it possible with an Attenuator?

will cause any damage to my amp or suck out tone? How is it connected to the amp?

What type of OHMS should I get? which one do you recommend?

I think you'd have to do a bit of a mod.....run a **** from the power amp to the attenuator, then another from the attenuator to the speakers.

The ohmage you need is the ohmage the amp and speaker run at....more than likely 8 ohms with the mesa.

I'm selling an 8 ohm THD hotplate....if you're interested, contact me.

Its not a simple setup? Do I have to open the amp and stuff and disconnect cables, etc..

Impedance? ohmage is NOT a word.

No mods required, the speaker is not hardwired to the amp chassis.
