howdy.
i just picked up a Rectifier Recording Preamp from someone off of Craigslist the other night and didnt get any cables at all with it (did get the footswitch tho). just wondering, is there anything special about the power cable at all, or can i use any generic power cable? and i saw in the manual something about only using the supplied STEREO cable for the footswitch (which i was not supplied with...it was part of the good deal i got).

stereo cable, as in, what...just a big 1/4" stereo cable to stereo? or is the one that goes into the footswitch end different?

Thanks for your help folks.

Yeah man, nothing fancy needed. Any old "IEC" type power cord will work and the footswitch cable is just a stereo (Tip/ring/sleeve) 1/4" plug on both ends to use stock or similar footswitch.

If you use an alternate switching interface, you may need/want to use a stereo to "Y" mono. This is what I use to control switching from my G Major.
