Bottle rocket owners ..

I have been thinking about the bottle rocket for use with my blackface bandmaster.
I'd like to know how much gain these things have. Is it enough gain for some Motlye Crue, Kiss, Ozzy type stuff?

I have boss turbo OD a couple of DIY overdrives that sound pretty good but I'd like to stick a tube OD on the board.

If anyone has soundclips that would be great.

You might try running it with a tube screamer or other OD in front of it. You'll probably have to do some tweaking but will likely find some sounds suitable for the styles you mentioned.
