89 6 bolt Musicman Silhouette, Mesa Studio pre 50/50 amps, 1x12 Black Shadow loaded cab and rack effects. Swap all for Gibson Les Paul.

What's that behind the nut? A locknut? String retainer?

Its a lock nut. Its a twenty year old 6 bolt Silo. The hardware is stamped made in W.Germany Schaller. At the moment I have sss EMGs in it. I have another 6 bolt hard tail that I'm keeping. I'm just GASing for a Lester at the moment. If the the gas wears off befor I get a trade ,I'll pull the ad. I had offers for cash on other sites I've posted,but my wife started salivating at the thought of getting her hands on it. House ,kids etc. So its a trade only now.
