Well. Thing is. Replacing R230 with a 4.7K (from 6.8K) will actually decrease the loop send strength. I'm hoping to increase it!
From what the manual says, the loop send runs at about 0.6 volts RMS. That's right around -4dBV. I need to get that to +4 dBu, which requires 1.22(7652988...) volts RMS.
But I don't know what value to use for R230 in order to get that! Or how to effectively and accurately meter the send voltage (RMS). Or if that'll affect my amp in some negative way. Or...other stuff.
