Anyone know what Mesa charge for a hardwood cabinet (empty shell only)?

For a Mk IV combo cabinet:
$249 for cabinet
$469 Hardwood upgrade
$199 Wicker grill
$49 installed reverb unit

Those are the current prices if you want to order an empty shell assuming you already own the electronics. (Ask me how I know! )

Did you upgrade your cabinet?

I was thinking of upgrading my cabinet. My tolex is worn and ripped on my amp. The wood underneath looks ok structually, but I can't get my eyes of those hardwood cabinets!

Any pics of your Boogie?

I called for an Imbuya head shell and was quoted $ 800.00.

What kind of relative do you have working at Mesa?

Yeah, that sounds about right for an empty head. I have one of those coming too. The above numbers were for a combo unit.

The wait time for custom cabs was 3 months when I ordered in Jan. Hopefully I'll see something in April. Will definitely take pics when everything is swapped. I'll also have some nice Tolex cabs for sale!

Actually I have another hardwood cab arriving tomorrow courtesy of eBay! Soon I'll have all 4 of my Boogies enclosed in hardwood! I must be nuts! (hard to argue with, right?)
