scroll down a bit and you'll find em. It's in german, so a lot of people here can't understand what the guy's telling about the factory, but the pics are fun.

I like how they were using the same type of guitar I own (rootbeer parker fly). Maybe it will jump up the value of my guitar.............:)

I actually made it out there and went on a factory tour. It is very cool! If you do it, be carefull. There are Mesas everywhere and it is hard to not want a few. When I was there they were building Roadkings and had just run a bunch of Recto Preamps all being tested. I tried hard to convince them what a great parting gift that would be :D

But they were really great, took me everywhere and explained everything. What a great bunch of people!

I took a Blue Angel to the factory a few years ago. I was in this little sound room with a tech while he worked on it, and a bunch of Hetfield's amps were in the corner, including a Wizard head. They all had clippings from porn mags taped on.

that's cool. they even service his wizard!

I've been given the tour there as well. Awesome company and everything is done in house. I love how they actually bang there amps with a mallet to make sure they are solid and reliable. Mesa's are tanks!! Very cool!!

It was actually the opposite. They said Hetfield would bring in other reference amps and have them tweak his Mesa rig to achieve those sounds.

The guy who helped me is the guy who filled in for Hetfield after that pyro incident burned him up. I saw Metallica, GNR and Body Count at the Oakland Coliseum when he was touring with them. We talked about his Metallica experience — it was cool.

Another Metallica connection for me: I have a cousin in the Bay Area who painted Lars' house. He said Lars was an absolute d*ck.

i bet you hetfiled doesn't even eq his own rigs then. Lars seems like he would be an a$$.

Only because South Park blew the lid off of his financial delimas:

'Lars is very sad because he cannot afford his new pool due to music downloading.'

We did some work for Bob Rock on Maui, when I lived there. He was a bit of a tool too. It took everything that I had to not let him know that he personally turned 2 of my favorite bands to ****.

You think they would notice if one of the Roadkings was in my pants? :D

I believe it was a gold-plated shark tank bar.. much more tragic than just not getting a pool :(

It's good to know that they actually work on amps...
