On Wednesday about half way through a 2 hour practice, I set my guitar down and walked away for 10 minutes or so. I am not sure if I put my head into standby or if I just hit mute on my pedal. But anyway, when I came back the amp was dead. No lights no nothing. We pulled out the fuse and while it did look kid of fried with a definite discoloration in the middle, the element was still in tact. I'm not really familiar with this type of fuse but most I thought, work by severing the connection in the element. But anyway, I ordered some replacements and a new rectifier tube as that is what can cause a popped fuse from what I've read. I don't think its an electrical issue in my house as it is new construction and I have never had an before. Im hoping it's just a bad rectifier tube. I have never replaced that one in the few years Ive had my V.
