Looks like a cool little tube amp. They seem to openly support modding it as well.

What I'm wondering is how the hell did they put this thing together for 150 bucks?

There is almost no reason not to pick one up and try it out.

I didn't realize it was a Crate at first. Seems pretty cool. Reminds me of the Epiphone Valve Junior, only with an EQ.

Hell... with that mod and some new transformers you are still only talking about what? 350 bucks?

right, so why so cheap? parts must be crap. made in china for sure.

It's a Crate. That should say something about the quality of it. I'm sure it is made somewhere in Asia.
