Best tubes for power saturation on a Mesa boogie dual recto

hello there everyone i was just wondering is there any tube brand out there for my mesa recto that could give me power saturation at lower amp volumes thanks also the tubes im currently using are 6l6s peace out.

None Really. You can try EL34's and get close to a good grind on the clean channel, but still would be loud enough to kill small animals.
If you have some money, you could get two Yellow Jackets with EL84's and just run two in 50 watt mode, but again, loud.

To get power tube saturation in most Mesa amps requires raising the current draw a lot.But then when you use the high gain/lead channel the excessive preamp distortion really rats up the sound.I like the power tubes to saturate,but I use lower gain 5751's to tame the high gain lead channel to kind of balance things out.
