I bought my mark IV A used a while ago and blew a power tube and i figured i'd buy all mesa tubes, since i have little knowledge when it comes to tubes, since then my amp sounds alright at low volumes but in a band situation it is very harsh and brittle and lacking of low end. Im looking for the best power and preamp tubes for nice low end, smooth high end and good amount of gain for my mark iv. What do you guys prefer for your mark iv?
