Tried this in the switcher thread but perhaps it is a more suitable topic here...

All experiences shared would be appreciated...

I had a Midi Matrix years ago that worked well... sold it though... I am sort of familiar with the Rockman octopus, Voodoo Labs GCX, Bradshaw switchers and RJM music's RG-16. Anything else I have missed?

The RJM looks the goods to me for switching the quad as you can get a matched cable but then again it would be nice to switch a couple of other things in/out also...

Thanks for your comments..

I would personally plug the GCX because it's not only useful to switch the Quad. If someday you decide to sell the Quad you could use it as a normal loop switcher.

Another possibility would be the RJM Loop Switcher though more expensive it has the 8 switching jacks as well as the 8 loops. The drawback with this is the cheap design that all the jacks are board mounted.

Figure out how you're going to use it before you decide. The GCX requires the GCP or a expensive controller like the Axess FX-1 because it operates on midi cc only. The RJM Loop Switcher will use either midi CC or program changes. Chances are the RJM Loop Switcher will do the same.

For just controlling the Quad the Rockman Midi Octopus is Program Change only but cheap I might add though the RJM Amp Gizmo will do either.
