Hey guys its been a while since ive been on here. this site really helped me out when i first started learning about my mesa but lately i havent had much time to visit.
ANyway, here is a song my band recorded, it is our first, adn it was recorded by an extremely good drummer, so the guitar isnt stand out but im sure you guys can appreciate it. BTW we are the first band hes ever done and it was free so the critique on the recording isnt necessary, we know its not perfect by any means.
I play the leads, im playing my 03 dual rec with 6550 tubes, gz34 rectifiers and it is modded. the only effect is my bad horsie. I am running ch. 2 modern with a epi less paul with emg 81,85 combo. Our other guitar player runs a limited gibby v with stock pups through a b 52 tri-mode.
BTW the solo is about 3/4 into the song, it should have been boosted a bit but hey, he was doing us a great favor and hes a drummer so ill get over it. Also, my sound cuts through alot more than our other guitarists so he had to boost him and it sort of muzzles mine. Sorry if anyone doesnt like the cussing in the song, our singer does all of his lyrics and we give him free reign and the lyrics dont bother us.
