Anyone using the GT6L6GE?

I run the GT6L6GE's in all three of my Boogies. They are not Fender GT's.
I love them, though when it comes time to replace them it would not be with the Fender versions.
Myles Rose has a great deal of info about these tubes (as well as many others) on his site.

#5 in my '84 Coli
#6 in my '83 S.O.B.
#7 in my Heartbreaker

hi im new here.
I have a mesa f50 with a celestion gold in it and it sounds amazing.
i play classic rock and blues
what would the best out but tubes be for me?
i have
mesa str 430 yellow
mesa str 425 5881 gry
groove tubes 6L6 ge rating 10
they seem to work well but im thinking of putting the 5881s back in

what do you think cheers andy

It's hard to say without knowing the sound you're seeking. The best way is to try out different tubes for yourself, which you are doing. You can always sell the ones you don't want.

I've tried the GT6L6GE in my Mark IIs and like them. I prefer the Sylvania STR415s for Mark IIs, and use the GEs for back-up.
