I am looking to update an old Kramer I have? I am a volume and tone control rider. How does the pickup work? On the web site it says it cleans up with lowered guitar volume, so how does it work? Like, dislike, good investment or waste of money?

Got a RY covered kit on my PRS 22 custom.
- Very well defined pickups, really dynamic (there seems to be no limits to the guitar output, the harder you hit the strings... I usually feel a little compression with other guitar when playing hard, not with this one).
- Not high output pickups (same as the Dragons II that used to be on the PRS). I got Pigs90 (warpigs in a single P90 coil) on another PRS that are WAY more powerfull (but lacks a bit dynamic).
- Quite midrangy sound, perfect for soloing or cutting through the mix.
I'm not a tone/volume man but they seems to be really linear when turning the volume down, and did not loose their voice/feeling (but it's hard for me to say because I have a really bad p-p pot that is quite totally down at half-course).
