Anyone modded their rectifier with lights ?

Id like to install some lights on the inside of the head. Preferably would like it connect to the power, so there is no need for a battery. Obviously a standalone with battery is safer to use.

But if for some chance someone has done this before, can show me the correct way to connect it, that would be great.

Go onto rig-talk and ask a guy named FortinAmps, He does this in one of his amps, and uses the power from the amp through a standard 1/4 jack. I'm not sure where he gets the power from, so it is safely powered, but I'd ask him about it.

If you're using LEDs you'd have to get a lowered voltage from the PT somewhere (switching maybe?), rectify it and then use that. Unless you have a usable place to get that voltage from you'd need another transformer or something and it gets complicated fast.

There's always 6.3VAC at the pilot lamp.
