My Blue Angel came witha Mesa VS-12 that clearly was not original to the amp. It looks like it was mounted from the front originally.
I've been battling the speaker replacement demons since I got it. I tried a Mojotone BV-30V and really liked it, but it seemed to lack a lot of chime.
Today, I swapped the Heritage 30 from my DC-5 with the Mojotone.
Now both amps sound like they should.
The DC-5 has tons of headroom & BASS. The Blue Angel has a lot more chime and highs.
