Anyone else use a chorus pedal to thicken up tone?

I'm currently using a "detune" effect from from G-Major rack system to help thicken up my tone. The effect I use is very subtle but very effective.

I'm currently in the market for something similar in a pedal.
Something I can set to help shape my overall tone.

Any suggestions?

For a thick and wide sound I have found that running a little delay in your effects send to a little combo amp off to the side, in to its Return works great. A simple wet dry rig sounds so much better to me. The little used combo amp is often cheaper than a high end pedal.

I use a Boss DD-7 for bit of slap-back/doubling (< 50m/s) delay to get a bigger sound, but mostly for single note stuff. I do use a CE-5 chorus when playing keyboard parts or comping jazz chords, and setting the rate high with moderate depth is a decent vib/trem simulation; good enough to fool the drunks at the local pub. :lol: I also like the chorus when I plug my acoustic into the amp as well.

However, I just pulled the pin on an Earthquaker Organizer today; should be here in about a week. It's a polyphonic octaver/harmonizer/pitchshifter that gives a convincing pipe organ effect.
