A Bit ******ish but still gives a nice impression of the amp

I think a sticky should start being made or something:

Cool that's inside Mesa Hollywood, wish they had a head there into a 2x12 cab though

Got to agree. Thought this was the worst clip yet. Don't mean to be lame about it but everything about the clip sounded bad.

Looks like it will be up to me to put some clips together when mine finally arrives!!

Feh, the guy is obviously a good player and obviously extremely excited to see a Mark V. My clips will suck the first week until my heart stops racing ;)

I should mention I wasn't commenting on the playing. Sorry if I didn't extract that from my comments. No offense intended. Heck, the recording quality could have been the camera, angle etc.

I thought it represented the amp pretty good. My guess that was channel 2 mark mode. It had that smooth sound to it.

I don't understand why people knock just about every Mark V clip that is posted. I thought it was a good clip and demonstrated yet another side of the Mark V i've never heard yet...

and what side was that ?? - that the guy can noodle non stop for a minute :)
I reckon you could do that too.
Hey - when you guys get your Mark V and do a YouTube vid can you actually tell us some thing about the amp

And what do you want the average Joe shmoe to tell you about the amp that you don't already know? Do you want to hear how it doesn't have MIDI or how it doesn't have as much gain as a Mark IV?

Here's a revelation....you want info on the amp READ THE MANUAL. It's been posted here.

I'd like to hear someone play some original rhythm playing of a song they have written. Rock, Metal, Blues, Pop... whatever.

Play something that you have played 100 times on another amp so we can hear the amp's voice, not how well it emulates Metallica or
how it sounds when you attempt to shred beyond your limits.

Hey Mr Friendly - havin a bad day are ya.
Well bein an idiot I can't read Manuals
But in a YouTube vid it does actually help us poor sods that don't own a Mark V if someone says well you can get this sound on channel X with the gain and EQ's set here and this guitar has ABC pickups, and if I hit the Y switch it'll sound like this. And this is how the Reverb sounds with the dial on 6 etc etc. It's called giving information that's not in the manual - it's what people do when they're tryin to be helpful

When I get my MarkV I'll do you a clip like that. It won't be till late June though.

The manual is really a marketing tool. That's why mesa are giving away PDFs of it. It is full of the usual "we are so good at tone you'll **** your pants" marketing talk that
it really made me cringe in parts. Good objective vids are a must I think.
