hello all

has anybody had any problems running stomp boxes in the effects loop? specifically, has anybody had not been able to use a stompbox because the effect loop signal resulted in the clipping in the stompbox when the amp gets cranked?

thanks

I was retarded and tried a compressor once. It sounded terrible because the master controls the FX send. Then again, you're really not supposed to do that with any amp. With my DD-20 echo though, it sounds fine all the time and I occasionally dime the master. Doesn't clip.

The only problem I've had with stomps & the 5:50 is they all sound so F@#$ing great
It's the most pedal friendly amp I've ever played.
It also performs fantastic with MFX's too.
I think that's cause the clean channel & the loop are so great

I'm having great success running FX into the FX loop. But I limit it to delays, chorus, and such. All overdrives go in the front door.
