Hey there, this is the very first quick roughmix of one of the songs of a band I'm currently working on.
it's supposed to sound like a ******* between modern punk and hardcore...think Pennywise as a reference or so.

I know, this is probably still a bit too "metal" sounding for punk but I really didn't want to artificially create a shitty sound.

I tried to find a compromise between "natural" and "modern"

tell me what you think plz

While I don't dig the music, the guitar sounds pretty awesome. I guess when it sounds good, then it's good. Doesn't matter whether it's too metal or not. Good job.

Did you use a boost for this one? What kind?

I like the tone a lot. Very smooth and not harsh. What were your settings?

Haha I love it man. Both the sound and music. It's good to hear this stuff for a change. Everybody is a metalhead these days :p

Not that it's a bad thing.. Just saying... :)
