Looks like a very serious and well established HIFI site. Have not tried their 12ax7's and probably would not bother.
What jumps out at me is the fact that no pics exist of their NOS 12ax7's and 12au7's, just the testers used to screen them. For 79 bucks each plus shipping of 20 bucks :roll: the buyer gets a well tested vintage tube, but if they showed the tube itself the well informed potential buyers might just go to ebay and beat that price easily. :wink: I have quite a few super top end vintage 12ax7's from various makers that I got on ebay for FAR less money.
I think that the better deal is the WE 300b's offered. But almost nobody has committed the "sacrilege" of using them in a guitar amp to my knowledge. Peace.
