I was hoping if any of the board members could give their 2¢ on racks. I currently use an 8 space commercial made plywood rack to house a triaxis, 2:90, and 4 other single space processors. Needless to say, the weight is a real bitch especially with the 2:90 loaded in the bottom. My fear is that this rack's carrying handles will eventually rip out the rivets. I've looked into the SKB and Gator "Roto" racks. (I'm impartial) Are these things designed to carry the rack with one handle (ala suit case) so I can fit through small door frames while carrying it? Are they robust enough to handle loading and unloading and the sheer weight of Mesa equipment? is their weight comparable to wood? Lighter/heavier? Thanks in advance.

You will mess up your back carrying heavy loads suitcase-style, i.e., one-handed from the side. Any technique other than using both hands, lifting with both hands from the front, bending at the knees, is asking for trouble.
The good news is that many rack cases are available with wheels, or you could get a furniture dolly at any hardware store.
Or check out Hand Trucks 'R' Us (no, really!), especially the Rock 'n' Roll Hand Carts. You can easily get 200/300 lbs. on one of these bad boys, and they fold up for transport.
Hope this helps :D

I own 3 gator racks. They are light and their handles are strong. But I wouldn't carry a bigger rack than 4 unit with one hand, just for my back !
The 4 units is loaded with a TA, a 20/20, a tuner and sometimes a G-sharp or a 50/50 instead the 20/20. No pb with only one hand, and I'm no bodybuilder
