Hello fellow Boogians!

I am thinking about adding a second 212 cab along with my current Mesa Rec 212 Horizontal cab. I really like the 212 rec with the v30. V30s seem to be my speaker of choice these days.

What do you guys thing about adding a second 212 rec? Do you guys think that there are any benifits in adding "more of the same"? Or maybe something different like a Port City 212 cab? Or maybe an open back design to compliment the 212 rec close back? I also hear good things about the Stiletto cabs.

What are your guys thoughts?

The two 2x12s I have are a Recto with V30s and a 3/4 back with C90s. I usually only use one or the other but they sound great together, too. Having the semi-open back on top gives a good spread with the recto on the floor to handle the rumblies.

Check out some Diezel cab's. I have two 4X12 front loaded cabs from when I made the jump from my old VH4 and VH4S; and the Mark V responds very well to them. Very articulate and focused. I used to have two recto 4x12's which were nice but I felt they were kinda too boomy and too much bottom end. Then again I was using them with the VH4's and the VH4 is naturally a boomy heavy bottom end head.

The rectifier 2x12 is my favorite cab. If you dig the tone coming from that cab, adding more of the same can only be a good thing, right? :D
