Hi guys, do you think the mark V and a rectifier standard 4x12 v30 could handle that guitar? I mean, the very low string could break the sound of most speakers, or heads..what do you say?

im useing my 7 string as a 8 string and it sounds ******* KILLER. Im picking up a agile 8 string soon, but as for the tuneing goes the mark can handdle it veryyyy well.

Hi there mate, what cab are you using? I have read that mesa standard 4x12 cant handle that low tuning :x

im useing 2 peavey 6505 cabs that i stripped down, put foam in side the cab, and replaced all the speakers with emeince texas heats and swamp thangs. Also i beefed up the wireing to 10 guage wireing. V30s should be able to handle the low end, just make sure you use less bass in the pre amp and se to taste in the geq.

thanks! Im thinking in get one of those 8 string guitar..but Ive read in harmony central that the rectifier standard 4x12 cant do that..anyway, Ill probably give it a chance

it will sound like poop at first but look around on google and find how to break in your speakers and you will be much happier.
