I have just picked up a used 50/50 and will be using it with my SMS Classic Tube Preamp (CTP). The CTP has one out and the 50/50 has two ins and outs. The online manual does not say a whole lot about different routing options. Can I run my single preamp out in and still use both channels/outputs from the 50/50? OR do I need to split the signal from the preamp some how? and if so what is the best way?

Thanks...

Yeah, you need to split the signal. Easiest way is to use an FX processor with stereo outputs - I use a G-Major II into my 2:90, but even a stereo chorus pedal would do it. A small inline mixer might be better though because it would have a bit more headroom.

Or you can just jumper the inputs on the 50/50. I do this with my 20/20 as I run mono onstage through two cabinets.
