I would rather have put in =C='s...

But I don't have a right arm I could do without. :(

Got mine from Sweetwater. The goofs sent me a pair of yellow and a pair of greens. smh :?

Which are the hotter of the two, if someone knows.

I believe the yellow are slightly hotter. It doesn't really matter you have two different.

not any difference you can hear. just use two of one pair in the middle position and the other two in the outer position and you are good to go. ( G-Y-Y-G for example)

I guess I have no arms left. Used the right arm for the 6L6, and the left for the EL34. To top that off, I gave my right foot for a quad of KT77. I am okay since it will be a last time purchase for me assuming they will no longer produce SED's. The Gold lion on the other hand, they are overpriced but I have to try them at least once.

Next time you get an itch for wing -c-, give the TAD6L6GC-STR a try. Much lower in cost and harmonic complexity is abundant. I believe I like them over the SED's (hard to compare new tubes to ones that are reaching EOL). I have grown fond of the EL34 in the Mark V. I prefer the overall tone over the SED 6L6. This time I figured may as well get SED EL34. Siemens are out of my price range.

Well, yesterday had a chance to let these tubes shine.
They sounded great, to my ears.

Will try the TAD's next time.
