Hello masses,
I have a couple of questions on using the Loop function of my amp. It is a 3 ch. from 02/03. I have read that they had some problems with this functions with certain eras of the amp. My issues and questions are as follows.
I am currently using these effects on a BOSS-BCB60 pedal board.
TU-2 (tuner) NS-2(noise suppressor) RV-5(Verb) DD-6(d.delay) & PS-5 (Super shifter with expression pedal) Line6DD4, and an Ernie ball VPJR for volume.
I purchased the NS-2 years ago and never read the directions. I only wanted it to kill feedback. Now that I have developed an ear for tone, I am experimenting with other options to clean up my sound. So, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with any tips on how to set this up with the Mesa Loop.
I know there are ways to run the NS-2 with the Send/Return and leave the reverb/delays out of it which I am about to mess with, I am just cautious due to the problems I have caused while attempting to tweak this amp.
Also, I have found that the only way to get a good mix with this amp while using the Loop option is to have the Send and Mix controls in the back almost all the way up. Not really sure how the Send/Mix and Output/Solo knobs all tie together. This is another grey area for me.
Any tips are greatly appreciated, I am very novice when it comes to this kind of stuff.
Thanks!
