Here's my 2006 PRS McCarty Indian Rosewood Neck & Board. The hand just glides over the rosewood. If you're going to own just one PRS it's the McCarty. It has a coil tap so you can achieve that Strat tone with a right amp. And, the humbuckers on the McCarty cuts right through the mix.
It's $2,930 at GC. I'm selling this 2 month old, mint PRS for $2,100 + shipping. I'm actually saving up for a PRS Modern Eagle. My loss is your huge savings. The color is Violin Amber. Comes w/ OHSC.
Carved east coast figured maple top with thick mahogany back
Neck: 25" scale length; 22-fret neck
Neck carve - wide fat
Abalone bird inlays
East Indian rosewood neck & board
Hardware:
PRS stoptail
Vintage style tuners
