2 ninety and cabinet issue

im buying a 2 ninety and im planning on running each channel into 70w celestion speakers... can this damage the amp or the speaker?

The only way you could possibly damage the amp is if you do not connect it to the speakers properly.

Make sure you plug into the right impendence on the amp, and then just slowly start to roll up on the volume. You don't have to blow the walls off by playing on 10 right from the start.
