Hi,
just got a bashed up 2:fifty mailed all
the way from the USA to Israel.
I couldn't find any Official Mesa-Boogie support eMail
address, as I need to match up an external 110v-to-220v
tranformer (or better yet, replace the internal one).
I saw the similar tpoics, but wondered if there is any
news on the subject?
Thanks

The US model 2:50 has a 4A fuse at 120V

That means the designers don't intend the amp to draw more than 480 Watts continuously.

However, it's a slo-blo fuse, so in theory the amp could temporarily draw a little more.

I'd suggest a minimum of 600 Watts transformer.

It's always a good idea to use a bigger transformer if you can afford to, as it will run cooler and be less likely to fail.
