Hi there. Is there anyone who use or used the 2:90 with 4 speaker?

I intend to use my actual pair of 2x12 V30 at 4 ohm together with two front stage monitor with the same characteristics: 2x12 at 4 ohm with V30.

any advice for it?

regards

michael

Sure, you can do that, but how are you going to hear the rest of your band? It sounds like you are planning to surround yourself with your sound. I think having your own sound coming from too many directions is a mistake because it drowns out whatever other instruments you are playing with. For me, it's best to have my amp(s) positioned behind me and use the stage monitors for the other bandmates and vocal mikes if you have to sing. Separation of sound is really important for me. Even if I were using in-ear monitors I would have my sound in one ear and the rest of the band in the other. Just my preference from my band experience.

thanks for your reply. you're right about the sound source but my act is a one man band show with all the instruments recorded. I do have the chance to hear the tracks with the other stage monitors in which I don't want my guitar but just the tracks and my voice.

speaking about the 290, will the mesa power stay the same with 4 speakes or is it cut in some way having to give a voice to 4 things?
