Hi,

I started out using the 2:90 in stereo through a 412 Recto cab but then I decided it sounded better just in mono. So, I started using Side A exclusively. I believe I always had level B at 0 and presence at max, as indicated in the manual.

Tonight I tried switching to Side B and no sound. Looked in the back... Side A's tubes were glowing brightly and BLUE. Side B was glowing, but only yellow. Hooked it up in stereo, same results. No sound from Side B whatsoever.

What could be the problem? Please help!

Thanks!

Check the two fuses located near the far left tubes. You probably had a tube go bad in channel B but couldn't tell because you weren't using that channel. Looks like it's time to plunk down $180+ for a retube! Yikes! That's one of the worst things about having an amp with that much power.....retubes are expensive even if you only use 1/2 of the amp.

If your fuses are both good then i would try swapping powertubes from A-B. If that doesn't work then you probably need to open her up and make sure everything is ok inside.
