Ignore the watt difference (its un noticeable, after all they are both monsters).
How are they ?
Which one will give me a bigger stupid smile when ill play it ?
Using at the moment a Carvin Quad X-Amp preamp and 2 Thiele design road ready 1x12 boogie cabs with EVM12L.
My currently amp is a 50/50
I'm planning to replace my 50/50 with either the 2:100 or 2:90 but I'm really confused with the two.
My style is progressive metal, if you ask what is the type of sound I'm looking for, it is something like Petreucci's, a tight distortion together with silky cleans (more or less).

Thanks guys.

Dunno... I have a 2:100 and yes, it is a monster. Just for the sake of flexibility, I'd go with the 2:90 if I were going to do it again. Simul is good and it has the half-power and deep on top of the modern mode.
