Unbelievable. I sold my JVM as a result. I had basically settled on Mark IV mode with all my home tweaking and it did sound good Saturday at rehearsal and sat great in the mix, out of curiosity I tried Extreme Mode and got some awesome chunk and low end punch. I stayed on that for the rest of rehearsal.

One cool thing I was relieved about was I thought I would have to do a lot of tweaking to get it to sound good at such high volumes. This is really where I found the sliders to be of supreme help. I just upped the middle slider up to just below the center line, and brought the high slider down a bit and the amp cut through, still had punch and still had sparkle and I was able to leave my dials totally alone. Coming from a Marshall, that's one thing I was worried about, having to make tweaks mid stream and then screwing everything up, but it was very easy to use.

That and the solo boost is a Godsend!

Yep...it sounds great opened up!!!

I'll have to try tweaking the sliders for practice though.

Between home and practice, I'll typically tweak the volume,
treble and gain a little. Raising the volume and backing off
on the treble and gain as the overall volume goes up. I'll
tweak others but it depends. The sliders will open another
window I'm sure.

Great...now that I'm getting good at dialing in the
knobs...I gotta work the sliders now too   :D

Solo boost is real nice too!!
