1st mesa boogie mark 4 head need help!!!!!!!

hi i have a very old mesa mark 4 and i cant seem to set my Boss NS2 up to the effects loop. i went to mesa.com but the pics they have of the mark 4 are not the same as on mine i have 4 hole reading "normal send and ou
the other two read "switch send and out" the pics i have seen of all the new mark 4s have 3

The two sets of outputs are for the switched and normal loops, the switched loop works based on the switch settings you have. (I never found this extremely useful)
I am guessing that is not you real problem here.
(My Mark IV is the same, it doesn't have the simul-send from the loop either)

Make sure you have the 3 individual masters set high enough to get the signal into the loop. Those adjust the send signal strength.
