Yes. Speakers act like resistors, so wiring them in serial will work fine. They will not share the load equally, and they will sound differently, but I have heard of a companies that do that ( Bogner comes to mind ).

It has that in the manual. You can probably get away with this, the tubes are grouped 1 2 3 3 2 1, I think just the inner ones are used in 50 Watt mode. I would double check the manual.

I have a Mark III ( yeah I know, not a mark iv ) and a Stiletto Trident, both are great in different ways. To me the Trident has the edge in metal/gain but really, your best bet is to go listen to them in different cabs. They are both about the same price so that really is not much of a factor...
