I run the Zuul as well, but into my DR 3 ch. Depending on the the FX loop in your TR the Zuul’s key feature only works with a series loop. Otherwise, like me, with a parallel loop you’ll have to run in front.

I've been happy with my Recto 2x12 vert, which works very well with my MK IV.

Looking to buy a recto 2x12, but I'm wondering what, if any, difference in sound there would be between the horizontal or the vertical? If anyone can give me info on this it would be much appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to the Mk IV family, you can say that the first leg of your journey is over, now the fun begins! This amp is truly a treat to own and play. I too found the Mk IV to be more for me rather than the recto.

I couldn't let go of my reverb rocket when I bought my Mk IV. There is just something about it that I can't let go. It's got one of the narliest sounds that I've ever heard, especially through a 2x12. Definitely a keeper!

This may sound goofy, but my Mk IV wide head was purchased new in April of this year and the logo on the front says "Boogie", but the one in the catalog says "Mesa/Boogie". I was just wondering if anyone knew if this actually represented anything i.e. year models?
