Who here is using 16 ohm cabs as opposed to 8 or 4 ohms cab and what's your experience? Since there is not a dedicated 16 ohm output jack on the MKV I would have to run a mismatch but I am wondering if the tone would suffer too much to want to do this.

What Plate current rating do I look for when buying "non Mesa" EL34 tubes for a 3Ch Dual Rectifier or what range would be acceptable to use or what have you used and been ok with? I have found a lot of info on here about matching but nothing specific on plate currents that are acceptable to use...
