    ESP Ex Std for sale

I have an ESP EX Std for sale. This is an older Japan direct order, so it comes with the gigbag and has a stamped serial instead of the USA/current printed serial number and circle stamp. They aren't available in the US very often, so grab one of these at a great price for a rare Japan ESP...

    DC-5 clean eq settings?

Thanks man, I'll give that a try. That seems it might get a bit bassy though. I'm using humbuckers.

    DC-5 clean eq settings?

Can anyone recommend me any? I'm after more of a U2-ish sort of clean tone. Thanks!

    My DC-5 is now orange!

Neat. I plan to stick mine in a vanilla taurus headshell in the future - white/cream amps look really cool.

    DC-5 questions: weight, knobs, etc...

Do you mean the pot, or the knob? Looking at my DC-5 manual pdf, the part numbers are: MV knob: #409115 MV pot: #591047 By MV, you mean Output Level, right? Since that's what I'm assuming you're referring to, and not the individual Master controls for each channel.

    DC-5 questions: weight, knobs, etc...

I think mine's around 60 lb or so. I don't really have access to a weighing scale, though, so it'd be nice for someone who knows the exact weight to chime in - I wanna know too.

BBE Supa Charger vs T Rex Fuel Tank

I run 3 Nova pedals, and all of my other pedals can run on 12V fine, so I use a Fueltank Juicy Lucy. It's excellent - isolated outs, lots of power, looks cool, sturdy, and one very important aspect over the pedal powers - it has a voltage selector for use in different countries.

    Question about the DC GEQ...

Center neutral, up boost, down cut.

    DC-5 Circuit Porn!

Gotcha, found it. Mine's 031398. Any idea what that dates it to? It's one of the later models I think, since it doesn't have channel LEDs and the EQ switch on the back is a toggle instead of rotary.

    The Official DC Club

Dibs. I get frustrated with my DC-5 a lot sometimes, but the next day when I plug it in it just totally slays. It's a love-hate sort of thing. They sound KILLER when tweaked, though.

    DC-5 Circuit Porn!

Hey, any idea where a DC-5's serial number is located? Is it inside on the circuit board or outside on the chassis? Thanks!

    DC-5 voltage question.

Ah, ****. Would it be possible if I got a new transformer, though? Or just to not have the switch at all and be able to plug in anywhere? I've been looking at some Laney amps that just have a universal output marked '110v-240V' - how do they do that?

    DC-5 voltage question.

What I'm actually looking to see if I could do would be to have a voltage switch installed so I could switch between 120/240v, since I travel around a fair bit. Any idea if this is possible? I heard Mesa used to do it on their old Mark amps.

    DC-5 voltage question.

Ah, gotcha. It says 2.5 A fuse and 120 v, so that'd be 600 watts then? That's gonna be pretty heavy.

    DC-5 voltage question.

Would the input power rating be 50 watts? So a 100 watt transformer or more would be good, then?

    DC-5 Appreciation

I'm actually wondering if doing the volume pot mod is a good idea on my Mesa, since it actually sounds pretty good at the volume knob just a hair above 1 (where it usually stays) and master levels at above 2. The post in the mod thread said that generally there'd be no output at all between 0...

    DC-5 voltage question.

If I'm using a US DC-5 in a country with 220-240v voltage (e.g: Singapore) do I just need a step-down transformer, or is there any additional stuff needed? Do I need to replace a fuse? I checked mine and it doesn't have a voltage switch or anything.
