    Programming Rectifier with MIDI

That actually really helped a lot! I wasnt able to get it to work properly in 10 preset/bank mode, but in 4 preset/bank mode it works just fine. With this setup, am I still able to, for example, assign banks to individual songs, so that I can easily access the settings using the 8...

Hey guys! I've just upgraded my rig to feature a Voodoo Lab Ground Control and GCX audio switcher. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to MIDI, though I do have some understanding of it.. Here is an example of how I'm setting up my rig...

Dual Rectifier/ Voodoo Lab Ground Control

'tis definitely a fair comment :D The G-Force probably would be more than I would need at first, but I know that in the long run I would always look back and think.. why didn't I just get one.. Forsight to hindsight.. Plus my mate is selling me his G-Force so I won't be paying full...

Dual Rectifier/ Voodoo Lab Ground Control

Hey guys, I've just bought a Voodoo Lab Ground Control (waiting for it to arrive) and I want to use it to control my channel switching on my 3 Channel Dual Rectifier. Would it simply be a case of plugging the midi cable from the amp's footswitch connector to the Ground Control's midi out? In...

Dual Rectifier CH. 2 and CH. 3 totally different?

I believe that the presence control on channel 3 begins tonally where channel 2 finishes.. So turning channel 2's presence dial all the way up will give you a similar presence sound as channel 3's dial being turned all the way down.. Im sure there is a better way to explain it haha

Metallica Gag Order? Their new albums gag me for sure

Well said.. you'd never know tho, Metallica could pull of a decent album.. everyone is expecting an amazing release, which is probably setting the bar too high to begin with. There's always the chance that they could actually release a "good" album.. but I wont hold my breath.

    Drop D and low tunings

It was Tommy Iommy actually.. In his early years he was working in a factory and had an accident with some machinary which severed two of his fingertips.. he had fake tips put his fingers and worked out that he could play powerchords easily by "drop tuning" the E string. Cool hey?! What a dude!

What do you think of the GT12T-75's with the Rec?

I run my DR into my Achillies 2x12 loaded with Celestion Classic Super Leads (80w each) and sound amazing! I just recorded with that setup and it produced a very unique tone (I'll post it up soon).. I've just bought a 4x12 Achillies cab loaded with Celestion G12-H speakers.. I don't think I've...

How come only young bands play Mesas?

Maybe it's something to do with the saying 'if it's too loud, you're to old' :P

    Recto "pop"

Ah excellent, so it's not just mine then :P That's good to know! It's not a problem at all at high volumes, only at low settings:)

    Recto "pop"

Ever since I bought my 3 chan Dual Rectifer, I have had something unusual happen when i turn it on.. When I turn the amp on, the footswith lights up all thee channels' switches while the the head shows that ch2 is selected. This is rectified (pun intended) by simply selecting any channel on the...

Boss Effects Pedals and the Effects Loop

I've had some trouble with using the effects loop in my amp before.. but don't give up on it, it can really be worth the work :D Spend some time with your manual and use the best settings that it recommends and work around that.. IF you're still having problems, it might be time to get it checked
