TA-15 Loud POP When Powering Off

Title says it all. Very loud pop when turning off. Only way to avoid this is to put into Standby for about 10 seconds before turning off. Any ideas?

New Mesa amp "California Tweed (6V6 4:Forty)"

For those who own this, how does the clean compare with Mesa's other clean offerings: specifically Electra Dyne, Lone Star, Mark V? I have an affinity for Boogies, but I'm not a high gain player. Y'all would be appalled at my Mark V settings, LOL! The CA Tweed intrigues me, but I could pick up...

Looks like an Electra Dyne to me. :)

Mark IV: What's the point of having Left & Right Effect Returns?

The MkIV footswitch has a switch to engage/disengage the loop. If you leave the loop active all of the time, then patching one output of your effects directly to the other power amp will work just fine. However, if you bypass the loop, then the second speaker would turn off with that wiring. I'm...

Mark IV: What's the point of having Left & Right Effect Returns?

Check the manual on this one, since it's been a while since I owned a Mark IV and never used that feature. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the stereo loop was designed to be used in conjunction with another product they once sold - the Simul Satellite.

    TA-15 vs 5:25+ Question

I’ve owned both at the same time. They are very different amps.

Mark V90 clicking sound only in 45W mode

Engage channel 1, then look at the back of the amplifier. Under the reverb knob is a switch that lets you select which rectifier to use. Does the clicking sound go away when you use the silicon rectifier? I had a tube rectifier that made a very similar sound to what you are describing. My brain...

    Willie Adler and the TC-100

You guys to a great job of catering to the hard rock / metal crowd, and you make awesome amps for those guys. I, however, am not one of those guys, and I really hope that you have something in the pipeline to replace the TA-15/30 and Express amps. Mesa feels like home for me, but there's nothing...

    Rectifier 3/4 enclosed cab

Unless Mesa just came out with a brand new line of cabs, which is entirely possible, I'm assuming it's not a Rectifier cabinet. A few years ago they made Three-Quarter Back cabs, and they were awesome! It's designed to give you the best of both open and closed-back sounds. I regret selling mine...

    3 Boogie lineup

I've owned all of the amps you're considering, and I think the 5:50+ is the best bang for the buck of the bunch.

Jackson Ampworks McFly & Britain 30 Heads - Mint!

I will be starting a business soon, so I am liquidating everything that doesn't hold sentimental value. That means you won't see any guitars for sale from me, but these amps MUST GO! First is a mintier-than-mint Britain 30 head in standard dress (black and cream), of which I am the original...

Mesa Cab Clone VS Studio preamp

I've been very happy with my Cab Clone. It's a simple way to get a consistent feed to the board, although I use it live, so I'm not looking for perfection. I care more about consistency. It provides 3 sounds. A mic placed on a speaker is a sound. Changing mic placement is a different sound. If...

    Mesa Brit Evolution?

I've owned all three. They're all great amps, and all do different things. Of the three, the most useable is the TA-15/TA-30.

    Jackson Ampworks Britain 30

Hi all, I have a brand new Jackson Ampworks that, after much waiting for the order, just isn't the right amp for me. This amp is a gigging amp, and it's too loud for playing around the house, which is mostly what I do. Anyway, the street price for this is $2,495, and while it's newer than most...

    Dear Mesa...

And bring back a revised Transatlantic. For MY needs, that's the best Mesa I've found yet!!!
