Out of curiosity, what guitar/pickups are you using? And where is your presence at?
Also, try bumping your mids up if you feel you're sounding "thin." It may not have the brootlz but it'll get that sob to fatten up one way or two!
Cool looking collection of amps ya got there! Happened to notice the Master Volume setting on that IIC+, holy ****!
Good luck with your sale, wish I had the dough as always. It's a perpetual thing these days, really. :(
Hey all! Figured I might see if anyone else is interested in making a boogie board group on blackberry messenger. I know it's a long shot since most of you probably aren't tech nerds like some of us are  , but if you'd like to join add me! My pin is 30FE6E05, or just scan this barcode with...
I knew I wasn't the only one to do this! I'll have to show this to the neighbors the next time they come a'knockin.
...not that I can actually hear them knock anymore, even with the amp turned OFF after a few of those sessions.
I do have to try one of these IIC+'s one of these days...
Haha thanks man, I forget where I heard that from but its been a long time now. Remembered it a while ago, figured it would fit right in with this place.
They definitely are underrated, but dayum are they awesome! I love their more laid back stuff, kinda gets me in the chill zone. As rabies said, very floyd-ish at times. I HAVE to see them live one of these days, I've heard they put on a great show.
Good points there, especially the one in bold. I think the III just had the unfortunate timing of being sandwiched between two of Mesa's most popular amps.
That being said, I like that about it. Keeps the prices down and the "sleeper effect" going. 8)
But I have never received any lack of...
I was jamming during my daily "roommates aren't home so master volume goes to 2  " session and I decided to do a little experimenting. Call me narrow-minded, but I have never really fooled around with my III on the 60 watt setting. I always assumed it would take away a lot from the...
That thing sounds just plain pissed
Good tone, some polish on the recording end and it sounds like you'll have some **** good material there!
Ugh, and my gas would like to say thank you for the re-ignition of my overwhelming desire to get the recto I can't afford
Wasn't really sure which volume he was referring to. For volume 1 that would be a great starting point, as you guys pointed out. MASTER volume? Well not so much  .
I stand by what I said regarding the eq however. YMMV of course
This is one thing I have DEFINITELY noticed about my III. It really doesn't like to do down tunings any lower than say D standard or so. For me the quality of tone just goes out the window if I go too much lower than that. It just seems to miss some of the aspects that I love the most about the...
Lol! I'm all for adjust to taste but come one now, some of these are ridiculous. Volume on 6-10? Maybe you meant LEAD volume? Nobody in that neighborhood needs to die
And presence at 7-9? Maybe if your amp is sandwiched between mattresses or something...maybe try "2" for starters and...
I'm not too up to date regarding the purchasing/selling of our government's debt (Shame on me I know, but politics and economics aren't exactly my passion. That's why I'm here :D). But I suppose I would question what services or products you might be referring to? The only thing I can think of...
Haha the only one that's important to pay is the electricity since my Mark III can't produce its own power out of sheer badass-ness...yet.
As for the others, weeellll that's nothin some good SD&R can't take care of for ya.
