    Bold/Spongy and Silicone/Rectifier. Which is your choice?

    Didn't expect what a difference changing the 5u4G makes...

    After doing some reading on the rectifier tube and that it can make a difference in the sound just like the preamp and power tubes. I went ahead and got a NOS RCA 5u4g tube to see what the fuss was about. I have to say that it makes just a big a difference with the pre and power tubes! Wow...
