Will a DC-2 chassis fit correctly into a Mark III combo cabinet?

I have a 1x12 DC-2 combo. I want to convert it to a head. Anyone have an approximate idea of how much a simple tolex head cabinet would cost and if anyone could build one other than Mesa?
