lol this has to be a joke, its a TUBE AMP! it has natural tube breakup. look at marshall plexi's, they are clean to start out with but when you turn it to 8 or 9 it becomes a rock monster.

also I have to tell you that I crank it to about 5 or 6 all the time, so there must be stress on the speaker. I will post the results on the 2x12 cab soon.

hmmmmmm, im going to hook it up to the speakers in my marshall 2x12 closed back avt275 combo and see how it likes it. I will post how it sounds.

hello, I recently have been noticing that my low end on my rectoverb is really really flubby. I am %99 that the speaker is torn. I was wondering if I should buy a replacement black shadow, or try something else?

get more speakers, if you add a 212, then you wont get as much speaker distortion. I have the same amp.

yes, I have EL-34s in my rect-o-verb and it is %1337 better with it that the rect-o-verb with 6l6s, It still remains 50w

how much for the cab?

I also have this problem too. Hopefully I can get an extension cab soon. At first I thought my speaker was screwed up. I have EL-34s in this amp and it definatly helps
