So, how's the low volume (conversational, not yelling, levels) capabilities with mini Mark? From my experience the mini recto isn't so good whereas the Mark IV shines even at low volumes.

Probably not but you should contact the member "gts" of this board. He makes very nice custom combo and head shells.

I have currently three Teles in my Mark IV and I absolutely love them in all places except V5 PI position. In my opinion,Tele ECC83's and Mullard 12 Ax7's are the best preamp tubes in the Mark series amps.

MOP was very nice. When did you get that IIc+ ? Hard to find in Skandinavia.

When its off just switch it to "Tweed", then, after 20 seconds switch the standby switch to "On" and you are ready to rock...... After hours of good rock'n'roll, switch it to "Standby" and then "off".

I just put four selected TungSol 6L6:s in my Mark IV. Like night and day compared to stock 6L6:s. I have also a couple of TungSol 12AX7's in the preamp. Extremely nice and articulate clean and high gain tones :D I'm so glad, that I had to donate again (thanks Ned)... :D

When pushed, turn it a little bit clockwise (If I remember correctly). Some new tubes like the latest TungSols (I think) are too big to fit in the regular V1 shield. Edit:Typo

Hi, When you have an overdriven / distorted sound, be sure that the amps reverb is set to zero.
